A Cotswold Elopement

A Little Background

Laura and James contacted me whilst they were enjoying a sabbatical travelling round the world.  Laura grew up in the Cotswolds and after getting engaged they decided to travel back to the beautiful Cotswolds to get married, picking a beautiful Cotswolds Wedding Venue.  I remember talking to Laura whilst she was sat in an airport on the other side of the world whilst planning her wedding!

Hats off to them both, they pulled off the most beautiful, intimate wedding at a stunning Cotswolds wedding venue with ease.  I’m sure underneath the surface it was stressful trying to arrange everything but you wouldn’t know it!

Photographing the Elopement

There were 12 guests in total and the Ceremony was perfect.  I cried.  I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!   Laura looked so elegant and stunning with her flower band and fitted dress.  Her flowers were locally sourced and really reflected the Bohemian style she wore so well.

It was a warm but overcast day but it was just perfect, allowing Laura, James and their guests to enjoy a celebration drink whilst soaking up the beautiful views out over the Cotswolds. Cotswolds wedding photography at its best!

This was a wedding that will stay for me for a long time;  it was just wonderful.
